But I couldn't entirely conclude through what little research I'd done if it was formally a tea or not. [Please teach him, Momo-sensei. Get it, tea-ch.]

Oh, that's a red tea. Yes...there's several similar plants. White teas have very, very low caffeine content, and we can test them to see how that affects you. Herbals have zero caffeine, if you get the right herbs, and I have most of those.
