PERSONALITY:
Momo Yaoyorozu is an intelligent, serious young woman with a natural aptitude for soaking up information. She’s at the top of her class in terms of book smarts, and seems to genuinely enjoy studying and learning, especially when compared to her more rambunctious classmates. She shows her dedication to her schoolwork by volunteering to run a study circle for her classmates that are worried about their exams, clearly taking great pride in assisting their education and in their success. This study activity continues well past examinations, as Momo gets really into it and the other students seem to get quite a lot out of it grade wise. It's one of the times she shows the most open emotion, getting quite giddy about it in fact.

This willingness to help is a big part of Momo’s personality as well. In official character books, she’s ranked as one of the most cooperative people in her class, and she shows this over and over again. Momo goes out of her way to help the people around her, even putting her life and future on the line, a trait that she says is absolutely necessary for a hero to possess. A prime example of this is assisting a small gang of students in efforts to track down and rescue a classmate that had been abducted by a group of supervillains. This is not only dangerous, as the villains in question had already proven themselves to be ruthless killers, but also illegal as Momo and her classmates had not yet acquired licenses to perform acts of heroism as mandated by the government.

Things get out of hand, badly, during this little escapade, however, and that segues nicely into her next main trait: her levelheadedness. In stressful situations Momo rarely loses her head, keeping a tight focus on the goals at hand. She’s not completely immune to panicking or stress of course, she’s still young and inexperienced, but generally keeps calm enough to help the more panic-prone members of her class from freaking out too badly. She takes most things as they come, unconcerned with the little things, giving off an unflappable air to her friends.

This isn’t to say that’s completely true, it’s merely an appearance most of the time. Momo has something of an inferiority complex, often comparing herself to other people, particularly the more flashy and showy members of her class. She stresses herself out about her failures and lackluster performances in the various competitions the school pits the students in, to the point of withdrawing in on herself and taking massive hits to her self esteem. These low points can affect her confidence, making her seem meeker and less steady than she is normally, but they are thankfully not so troublesome that they render her unable to function. And she doesn’t turn away help, at least. A good jolt and a chance to prove herself and she’ll jump right back onto her feet.

Momo’s cooperativeness, level head, and intelligence make her a natural leader, and most of her classmates actually look up to her because of these traits. She was voted vice president of the class, as an example of that respect. Her teachers say that she has a knack for coming up with strategies and countermeasures and this is true. Her adaptable Quirk and resourcefulness allow her to create the tools that she needs to actually enact the plans she comes up with. This ranges from making gas masks on the fly during a poison gas attack to creating strategy on the fly to beat a much more experienced hero in a mock battle. She knows she’s not physically the strongest member of her class, but she’s a firm believer in building up the group because no hero operates alone.

Notably, Momo is a relatively serious person with a tendency to get caught up in the shenanigans of other people rather than being the instigator most of the time. She attempts to have some level of dignity, but with a circle of friends like hers, that’s generally impossible to maintain 100% of the time and she bears it with as much grace as she can. She is a little blunt at times, but generally remains polite and eager to make people happy. She obsesses over little details like what brand of tea a visitor might enjoy, painstakingly trying to make people more comfortable in her presence…and sometimes going overboard enough to make her come off as ridiculous.

Momo was raised in an extremely wealthy family and has had the idea of societal obligations and noblesse oblige instilled in her from a young age. That said, she has no tolerance for people who are vulgar or for people who objectify her for her looks and will call people out on it. That includes teachers that use coarse language too, though she’s not above a few swears when the chips are really down. Nobody can maintain the perfect ideal all the time, right?

POWERS/ABILITIES:
Momo, like the majority of the population of her world, was born with a super power called a “Quirk”, something that’s largely unique to every individual. Her Quirk is Creation. She can create any object that she knows the chemical composition, mechanics of, and shape of for out of her fat cells and pull it out of any exposed part of her body. This is limited to non-living objects, and some examples include a sword, rope, an insulator sheep, a small cannon, flash bangs, adhesives, roller skates, and a tracking device. The larger the object, the more time, exposed skin and focus she needs to create it.

Additionally, to make use of this Quirk she needs to eat a great deal of food, as this talent requires fat cells to work. Momo is also relatively athletic, enough that she’s passed several physical conditioning courses, taken so that she can be considered a superhero in training. She’s strong, quick, and has no trouble with athletic feats that are on par with any military training course if not more strenuous given the role of heroes in her society. Momo is also a reasonably skilled fighter, using her Quirk to create weapons like a bo staff to defend herself. Beyond that, Momo is still training, and is generally just an athletic, physically fit girl. She has some musical talent as well, playning piano and other key based instruments.
